This privacy notice aims to inform you how we collect and process any information that you provide to us.
When you make an enquiry via the contact form on the Contact Us page of our website you send us information about yourself. This is used solely for purpose of getting in contact with you to discuss your requirements.
If you book a tour with us we will collect this information which will include the name and email address you have given us. We are likely to ask you for a contact mobile number for the lead person on the tour, and for an address if we have to send you a paper invoice. We may ask for information about your interests and preferences so that we can better understand your needs and provide you with a more customised service.
This information is required to provide the services you are requesting from us.
We will usually pass the contact telephone number of the group leader on to the guide who is taking your tour. This is so that he/she can contact you in the event of any last-minute changes or problems.
We delete personal data from our files upon completion of a tour and on receipt of final payment, and only retain information pertaining to payment of invoices as required for taxation purposes. This will be retained in a password-protected site only accessible to the directors of See Cambridge Differently.
We do not retain information about banking details.
We will not pass on your contact details to any third parties.
We will not contact you as part of any marketing exercise.
We may email you after the tour to send our invoice and to seek your feedback, but we will not contact you after that.
Cookies and analytical tools: We are also collecting information about you through cookies and analytical tools eg Google Analytics. We use cookies to enhance customer experience on our websites. Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device. Tracking technologies also used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyse our service. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.

Under General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you think there is a problem with the way your data is being handled.
